Wearable technology to prevent brain injuries in sports
Bearmind is an EPFL spin-off building in-helmet sensors and software that measure impact strength, frequency and severity for contact-sport athletes, aimed at reducing long-term brain damage. It has piloted with Lausanne Hockey Club and other Swiss National League clubs.
